About This Station

The station is powered by a Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus weather station. The data is collected every 2.5 seconds and the site is updated every 10 minutes. This site and its data is collected using Weather Display Software. The station comprises of an anemometer, rain gauge, thermo-hydro sensor, UV and Solar Radiation sensor situated up on the roof

About The Village of Ladner

Ladner is located on the banks of the Fraser River in the southwest coast of Canada and is part of Greater Vancouver. The area on the south side of the south arm of the Fraser was named for the original Europeans who settled there. Originaly called Ladner's Landing, the area was settled by Thomas Ellis Ladner(1837-1922) and William Henry Ladner(1826-1907).

Ladner is located near the junction of Highways 17 and 99 in the extreme southwest corner of mainland Brithish Columbia, 27 km south of the city of Vancouver and 27 km north the USA border post at Peace Arch/Douglas.
